Support the Wilmington Cheerleaders in UCA National Championship Send-Off Tuesday Night

The three-time defending Universal Cheerleaders Association Small Coed Division II Wilmington University cheerleaders are preparing for another run at a National Championship as they head to the 2015 UCA College National Championships at the Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla., this weekend.

The championships will be held from January 16-18 with the Wildcats taking part in the Small Coed Division II group on Saturday afternoon.

But kicking off the competition for the Wildcats are first year team members Ryan Hertz and Kristen Basquill in the Coed Partner Stunt National Championship on Friday night. The duo heads in to the competition ranked fifth out of 13 partner stunt groups after the video entry.

Hertz and Basquill will perform their partner stunt routine on Friday at 6:33 p.m.

The team competition begins on Saturday and the three-time defending National Champions will perform their routine at 3:19 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. A live stream of the team competitions can be found at uca.varsity.com.

Unable to follow the Wildcats this weekend in Orlando?

The Wildcats will again host a send-off party at the WU Athletics Complex on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The audience will get a chance to check out both the partner stunt and team routine one last time before the team heads for Orlando.

Doors to the send-off party open at 5:45 p.m. with the team performing at 6:00 p.m. sharp.
