The 2019-20 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Golf season is right around the corner, as the nine schools in the league that compete in the sport will be in action the week following the Labor Day holiday weekend.
The Wilmington University golf team closed out the 2019 NCAA Division II Golf National Championship with a 309 on Wednesday, finishing the three-day, three-round tournament in 19th place with a three-day score of 914 (+50) at The Resort at Glade Springs.
Senior Ryan Rucinski was named to the Division II PING All-East Region team for Wilmington University golf, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Senior Ryan Rucinski shot a 71 (-1) and is a tie for fifth overall after the first round of the NCAA Division II National Championship at The Resort at Glade Springs, with the Wildcats in 19th overall after a score of 308 (+20) on Monday afternoon.

The Wilmington University golf team picked a good time to post their best score of the 2018-19 season, as they sit in first place after the first round of the 2019 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional with a 296 (+8), on Thursday morning at the Totteridge Golf Course.
The Wilmington University golf team’s season will continue, as the NCAA has announced the field of 80 teams and 32 student-athletes that will compete in regional competition of the 2019 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championship.
