NEWARK, Del. - - Nick Papanicolas will get a lot of home cooking this fall as he has scheduled 11 home matches for the Wilmington University men's soccer team, including six in September as the 2019 schedule has been announced.

This season, five of the Wildcats' first six games are at the WU Athletics Complex, beginning with the Wildcat Invitational on Thursday, September 5. The Wildcats will host Millersville, and the District of Columbia with Goldey-Beacom, playing on Thursday and Saturday of the opening weekend.

The Wildcats host the NCAA Division II National Runner-Up West Chester on Wednesday, September 11 before taking their first road trip of the year on September 14 to New York Tech. They return home for their final nonconference game of the game, hosting perennial East Region power Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday September 18.

The CACC campaign begins at home as well, hosting Felician on Saturday, September 21. A quick trip to Georgian Court happened on the 24th before the 2019 Homecoming Festivities on Saturday, September 28, capping the day with a 3:30 p.m. start.

The rest of the season stays in the CACC in October and into November, as they head to Holy Family, Bloomfield, Chestnut Hill, and Nyack in October. The Wildcats will host Post, Jefferson, Caldwell, and Goldey-Beacom.

The 2019 regular season is finished on Saturday, November 2 at Concordia. The team will look to be one of the top eight teams in the CACC to qualify for the CACC Tournament. The CACC Tournament First Round game is scheduled for Monday, November 11, with the four advancing teams playing for a Championship on November 15 and 17.

The 2019 CACC Tournament Semifinals and Championships will be again hosted by Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut.
